Mega Event Poland 2013 is the first large-scale meeting of Geocachers taking place in our country. We are sure that the land of Kuyavia-Pomerania will welcome you heartily and that Gorzno – probably the smallest town in Poland – will live up to its reputation of the Polish capital city of Geocaching. Attractions galore will await you here, so make sure you and your GPS devices are ready for a lot of hiking and other outdoor activities.
During the weekend you will discover a variety of events and attractions. You will have the opportunity to try Geocaching on horseback, in a kayak, by bike, in a four-wheeler or during a pleasant hike across the beautiful forests and fields surrounding our town. Those of you who enjoy difficult challenges will get the chance to complete the Mega Trail – 420 caches hidden along a 75 km long route. There are also many different games and contests awaiting all of you.
Finding Geocaches won’t be our only activity during the event – you will get to taste various delicious specialties of our local cuisine. As for food for the soul, we have also taken care of that. And at the end of the event you will receive very special keepsakes to bring home – oak seedlings from our region.
Of course, we are not going to neglect Mother Earth. During the Mega Event every day will end with a CITO event, to ensure that our activities don’t harm the environment.
